Yes rural America votes republican and loves their guns. But they have still lost traditional American culture. Small towns in Texas and New Mexico (my area) are poor. Divorce rate is high. Lots of tattoos. These people do not look like 1950s Americans. The best I have seen in America is north Idaho, but even that is mixed. By far the closest place to traditional America that I have seen is the Mennonite area in north Mexico. And that is why I am not America First, because what I care about is the culture, not the nation.
