It's been experiencing a meteoric rise, but Parler is a free speech alternative to Twitter. I'll admit it's sort of one-sided at the moment because one group tends to be banned from twitter more than anyone else, but it seems like a good site with a lot of high profile people on it.

What's a red flag about it? I'm under the impression that it's pretty standard at this point.

It is standard for the profilers to ask for as much information as they can get away with - but ethical sites don't ask for anything more then what is absolutely necessary. Take the example of saidit. Even giving email is optional.
