FACT CHECK: Bardfinn says a group of "literal neoNazis" on Reddit are claiming that he "possesses/posted CP" & that he's "a pedo"

Bardfinn insists he hates pedophiles, so how did his enemies on Reddit end up accusing him of the unspeakable?

In response to Bardfinn's claims that Neo-Nazis on Reddit are falsely accusing him of being a pedophile and have called LE on him (Bardfinn insists that he hates pedophiles, on Twitter he even claimed to have once been abducted by a pedophile himself as a kid), here's what I think happened. I really don't think people are deliberately trying to slander him or frame him, I suspect they are sincerely confused because of a case of mistaken identity:

  • Bardfinn censored so many people on Reddit that they got mad and got together to research him

  • They found his IRL name online - because, again, he was public about who he was to the mainstream media and his name has been in the public domain for years, this was NOT doxxing like he himself falsely claims - and decided to do more research into him because of his claims of being a Nazi hunter for 30 years.

  • They found that SPLC webpage about "Steven L Akins" posting on far right forums, and wrongly assumed this was Bardfinn because the name is similar. Note: Bardfinn's middle name is Steven JOEL Akins, so it's Steven J Akins, not Steven L Akins like the guy on the SPLC page. I guess this is how people initially got confused.

  • The SPLC webpage talks about Steven L Akins posting in favour of pedophilia ("old enough to drive, old enough to ride") on far right forums. In the context of Bardfinn's bizarre pro-incest rant on Reddit, it makes sense that people, already confused by the similarity in name, concluded Steven L Akins must be Bardfinn. They must've assumed that Bardfinn was arguing in favour of incest on Reddit the same way this Steven L Akins guy was arguing in favour of pedophilia on far right forums.

  • When the AHS whistleblower posted their video to Youtube claiming that he was asked to plant CP on subreddits that AHS wanted manipulate Reddit Admins into taking down, this video only confirmed people's suspicions that Bardfinn was an unsavoury individual. The AHS whistleblower does not conclusively prove but suggests that it was Bardfinn himself who wink-wink suggested to him that he should plant CP on enemy subreddits of AHS. On the basis of this inconclusive evidence, Redditors concluded that Bardfinn is in possession of CP that he uses to plant onto enemy subreddits of AHS to create an excuse for Reddit Admins to take them down. But the AHS whistleblower's video does not provide any hard evidence for this claim of AHS planting CP onto enemy subreddits, the whistleblower merely said that this activity was "wink-wink" alluded to by those running the Discord server that AHS was using to organize brigades of enemy subreddits.

If the AHS whistleblower of the Youtube video is reading this, I implore you to provide additional evidence for your claims. It's not that I personally disbelieve you - I myself certainly consider AHS corrupt enough to resort to planting CP on enemy subreddits just to create an excuse for their suspension - it's that you need to provide more evidence than what you've shown in the video to make your claims more credible. AHS are already claiming that you Photoshopped the screengrabs you showed in your video, so please come out with additional evidence (like the extent of your involvement with AHS) if you have any.

Bardfinn's full name is Steven Joel Akins, not Steven L. Akins. The middle letter is a J, not an L. So it was clearly a case of mistaken identity and people stumbling across that SPLC page that led to them thinking that he's the same pedo described in that article. Though, with his passionate defense of incest, I have to wonder what impression Bardfinn thought he was going to make with Redditors.

Deny what? That he wrote a defense of incest? Or that people on Reddit read that post and jumped to the conclusion that he must himself be a pedo for writing a defense of incest?

I would rather not. Either that alt is someone impersonating him, or he's here to cyberstalk and data-mine everyone, just like he's still doing on Reddit.
