Opinion on drag?

Hello, shame this place seems to have died? But what is everyone's opinion on drag? I do not like it at all, since is enforcing stereotypes and indoctrinating children into abuse. I do not like how they are now making shows about this kind of offensive material so much that i have complained to a TV station that features this kind of content. I have not heard back.

Hate it. Always made me feel queasy. Grown men acting like women. I never found it amusing or "artful", in any manner, and I found anyone defending it to be suspect. Frankly, IMO, it is (hopefully) fringe, mentally/emotionally damaged men who delight, even subconsciously, the misogynists in mocking and degrading women. I've never seen a "Tribute to" that was in anyway flattering to the real woman being referenced.

I saw a promo for the kids version of RuPauls DragRace, and was appalled! You CANNOT tell me that is "harmless entertainment". Where $ is involved, there's always a reason...

Why are they allowing something that is no different to blackface on tv?

I personally find it disgusting, but I think people should have the freedom to do what they want. As long as they are not deceiving anyone about their sex, or involving children or individuals who would rather not see it.

It's misogynists pretending to be women, its pretty disgusting to be honest. Shouldn't be promoted on tv.
