If a bunch of elementary school girls saw this, they would all just assume their best-friendships with other girls was "Emotionally Attracted to ---> Women." Little girl friendships can be I.N.T.E.N.S.E.

ALso... now that I wrote that... I don't like the idea of putting this idea in little kid's head that they should be thinking about being attracted to Men/Women at this age. Boy/Girl is more appropriate.

Should they even be exploring physical/sexual attraction at all? They're just kids after all.

It really would have helped me if someone had told me at that age that bisexuals exist and that gays/lesbians aren't something you just "ewww!" at because those are just subhumans who deserve cruelty. But beyond that, you're right. We needed parental signatures before they could even teach us basic sex ed like "what's a uterus?" so IDK how they are able to get away with this shit now.
