The writer sees LIGO as a success, while it is clearly pseudo science.
It is just as bad as dark energy and dark matter.
They are all based on filling in giant holes in theories with kindergarten-level explanations.

Note: The LIGO picks up low frequency radio-waves, and the connection between the detectors is also not free from interference. There are some "detections" where the LIGO just start resonating, which shows that the resonating frequencies of some parts are clearly interfering. My own theory is that the circular mirrors can act as a Gong, and resonate as one. And at sub-atomic level measurements these small vibrations can easily give results. The mirror also acts as a receiver of EM-waves, a technique that is used in some laboratories.

And he criticizes paranormal research, while the paranormal is definitely real (but badly understood). But unknown-unknowns is an area that is hard to talk about. Usually mixed with a lot of weird theories. Like consciousness.

It is actually very easy to correct the science of psychology, consciousness, neurology and biology. But that requires to have a thorough look at known unknowns and unknown unknowns.

For me, the best model is to see consciousness as the controller/driver of your bodily processes. Consciousness is in this sense outside the physical dimensions.
Without consciousness the body simply dies. Like people die of old age or simply give up. If you feel bad, you land in a ditch harm your body. But if you feel good you can even conquer dangerous health conditions.

It is also possible to get an idea of how consciousness works, by looking at how it interacts with the body.
The connection is sustained via very small processes that resemble vibrations. Which is the reason why every neural decision is made via vibrations. Drugs that stop pain or put you to sleep, interfere with these frequencies. Usually by blocking them.

But sadly people like this writer are so imprisoned in the group thinking, that they make it hard to do actual research on everything unknown.
