How about buying less instead of "buying green"?

True, but even for those who already buy little, sometimes buying something is needed. One thing I would like would be a type of USB cable more repairable than the ones I currently have and a way to order internal USB cables that have rendered useless the products they are attached to simply because no replacement parts exist. I would love a replacement cable for my HHKB Lite2, especially, as the keyboard works perfectly fine other than the cable. I have a PC front panel that broke yesterday, too, with a chip that seems less-than-ideal for repair, and with no replacement parts off-the-shelf. Maybe I can solder it anyway, or support will have a replacement.
