It's getting honestly so stupidly Orwellian that I'm dumbfounded how people cannot see where we are headed. For one thing, most of this technology is invisible.

The 700 Club routinely had wacky stories about this sort of thing around noon time on Sundays. Exorcisms, and whatnot. Those were interesting times. Now we have skateboarding and bmx halfpipe competitions.

I was looking forward to seeing UFOs, space aliens, and ghost videos when cell phone cameras began gaining in popularity.

In some sense, I feel cheated... What a shame... :-/

Get an acoustimeter, or rent one or a ELF emf meter for listening devices. You'll be able to pick up various freequencies from elf up to 10 ghz.

You'll be surprised what is listening to you and sending stuff over the internet.

for a permanent solution, its best to open the enclosure and put a drop of superglue on the built-in microphone itself on the pcb.
