If done correctly, legalizing prostitution could be a good thing. Mandatory health checks, psych evals, etc. Could make this a safe practice.

This is a good point. I don't know what kind of taxation, regulation, etc. should apply. We need to have these discussions, if we ever stop yelling at each other about meaningless bullshit.
