No, it's a way of saving money and American lives. If Russia conquers Ukraine, Putin will continue his aggression and the US would have to supply both weapons and troops.

The best thing we could do to stop Russia is pump more oil to bring the price crashing. Putin will not have the income to continue the war.

The US doesn't have enough oil otherwise it wouldn't import any.

US has enough oil. Under Trump, the USA was a net exporter. Xiden’s drilling and pipeline restrictions have reduced production.
