when did this place become reddit? This is some propaganda if I ever saw it. No context whatsoever. Democrats will put up a bill with something like veterans health care and shove in the same bill blanket amnesty for illegals, then come out and say republicans hate veterans. GTFO with this BS.

Repugs also LOVE immigrants, though they don't want you to know that. It's not that difficult to return people across a border. The failure of repugs to do that should tell you they're not that interested in returning them. That JOKE of a wall Trump touted also has not impact, as designed. Almost anyone can climb or cut through it.

Actually it's not that simple, they don't all come from one country and generally the countries they left don't want them back.

I'm not referring to only one country. All of Latin America has a few migrants heading north, as we know. And in recent years, illegal migration by South Asians has reached 100k/year. East Asians and Africans are also migrating to the US in massive numbers. Almost all of them are cheap labor, and the GOP couldn't be happier to have a weak immigration policy that allows for their work in the US. It screws over the middle and lower class populations, but that's not the concern of the GOP (or wealthy Dems). It's old news. My main point is that GOP supporters should not be duped into believing that the GOP are going to do anything reasonable to return illegal immigrants back to their home countries. (On another note, the Biden admin are on record this past year for sending back numerous illegal immigrants. Regardless, thanks to Biden appearing to support Israel's genocide of Palestinians, he's lost 20% of his voting base.)

That doesn't make sense though, why does the Biden administration keep suing Texas for trying to enforce immigration law when the federal gov won't?

That's propaganda. It's illegal (a human rights violation) to kidnap people and deliver them to random areas around the country, where they can freeze and starve in those locations. The Texas governor is committing those crimes. Biden doesn't decide on any of this. The DOJ is obligated to address these illegal kidnappings.

This is not a small issue, where I live I am now the minority. These people wre aren't just Hispanic Americans either, they're right over the fence illegals who don't speak English. It's like instead of moving to Mexico, Mexico moved to me.

It's essentially an invasion and all Biden's admin is doing is trying to stop efforts to stem the tide.

Deportations/returns in 2023: 142,000 (which should be higher, but it's progress, after years of fewer deportations) source

Deportations/returns in 2017 (Trump): 100,695 (which is fucking ridiculous)

Deportations/returns in 2009 (Obama): 582,567 (which should have been higher)

Deportations/returns during 1976-2008 were around a million per year, give or take 150k

I'm not counting 'removals' above, which can be criminals &c, and there's a much higher number of those each year.

Got a list of all the stuff Democrats voted against during Trump's leadership? This type of politics damages both parties. Although half of those listed are crap policies that deserve to be voted down. Fuck climate change.
