Although the initial carriers might be illegal migrants, if Americans were vaccinated the disease wouldn't spread far.

all vaccines are too dangerous. better to limit the spread by limiting migration

All vaccines have some danger because they are part of or weakened versions of the virus. However, the virus itself is more dangerous. Limiting migration will not stop diseases such as measles without vaccination because legal visitors from foreign countries could bring the disease.
