Nowhere does not article say that LGBTQ+ people aren't willing to fight for the US in a war. They did in World War II. See https://www.nationalww2museum.org/war/articles/gay-and-lesbian-service-members

I know queers fought in WW2. My High School History teacher was a tanker under general Patton and helped the 101st Airborne at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a queer but we all loved him anyway. Unfortunately today's queers are just pansies and will run away. Prove me wrong if you can. Please.

If your high school history teacher was a queer and fought in World War II, then there is no reason to believe queers today won't fight.
