    They're funny as sin when they go to Europe and freak out. Puritans man, they left because Europe was too secular, they still are a major force in US culture. What else can you expect from a country founded by a mix of profiteering adverturous seekers of fortune and cultists that left Europe because their kids were leaving the cult due to exposure to friendly dutch people suggesting that sitting in church for 10 hours on Sunday and being whacked with poles if you dozed off is a bit extreme.

    Don't even want to know what the penalty for not attending church was. They'd banish you from the colony.
