The collapse happens fast. I'm not a conservative, but I used to be a pretty woke lefty. When I finally realized how the people saying they were on my side had used my sympathies to keep me from questioning their bullshit, I dropped the wokeness and socialism inside of a week.

I noticed I had said this 11 months ago: "The far left is the most hateful and intolerant mainstream organization I've ever encountered."

They're the ones that drove the party off the edge, although maybe its good they did, because it sheds some light on how if the ideologies aren't working now, they probably weren't working then either. Which begs reconsidering recent history in light of this.

I mean, and at one time this would have seemed downright wrong to me, but wasn't the argument once that gay marriage would erode family values, and allowing LGB mainstream would corrupt the children?

It doesn't appear they were wrong.
