I've been using Qwant for a while now. Seems ok. https://www.qwant.com

And of course, there's the Russian https://yandex.com, if you're curious what those "evil" Russkies see. Haven't used it much though.

I'm using these along with the Brave search engine.

I think Brave is the best alternative right now.

Qwant has been working well for me, too.

I use Brave, Bing and I've just started using Ecosia.

I tried using Yandex but a lot of the results come up in Russian, which I don't speak.

I use Brave Search because it's the only that gives decent results hassle-free to Tor users. Google still provides the best results for normie topics, and acceptable ways of accessing them are Startpage, Searx, and GPrivate. Although those may not be relevant if you're seeking to boycott companies. There's also Seeks (which is different from Searx) and YaCy, but you have to set them up by yourself. Another good metasearch engine is Dogpile.

Others have suggested some good ones. Here are the ones that I believe actually index individual web pages, rather than meta-search others:

These places search privately, but they are probably meta-searchers:

I currently use fireball which claims to be anonymous, which I don't even care much about since really nothing on the internet is anonymous, but I want uncensored results.
