I think the black kid used self defense too as he was allegdely being bullied. That may be true or not. Either way though the bails were unequal. The teacher didn't need to get shot.

It's not self defense leaving the situation, then coming back with a weapon. That's revenge. If the gun would have been on him and he shot the one person attacking him, that's self defense.

Once you leave the situation and there is no longer a threat, you don't need to defend yourself

is that what happened tho, he may have been bullied, attacked and assaulted, realized that carrying a gun would let him defend himself, then came back with a gun, then they tried to do the same bullying as usual so he used it in self defense. He can't leave the situation forever, he had to go back to school eventually. Again, this is alleged. With Rittenhouse it's clear on video so we know exactly what happened. There is video of Simpkins but it isn't clear, starts when the shots go out and it is just pointed at a desk.

I will never agree with your view on people should just run away from a threat, if someone is attacked it is ok to stand your ground and shoot them. If more do this criminals would become worried about outcomes and crime would decrease.

Word is that this kid was dealing drugs at school and got robbed and beat up. The shooting was his revenge. Hopefully, the truth will come out at trial.

yeah hopefully truth will come out, if he was dealing drugs, what drugs, if weed that's ok.
