I haven't really made the connection with fake mass shooting PsyOps, and police shootings.

At face value, it's certainly reasonable. Disband the police for robocops, because robocop isn't racist (equal opportunity murderbots).
I think it would be easier and more effective to have police shoot people, because the victims can sue and legit villanize most/all cops, because of a few insider agents.
This serves to publicly legitimizes the Attacks against the police. Floyd the landlord's family was paid millions before the trial.
