In theory it isn't racist, but clearly they are looking for ways to suppress the vote. Hopefully democrats will create campaigns so people on the margins to get a proper state ID and get their legal papers together. The minute I turned 18 my mother rushed me to get a state ID. Adults should have formal legal papers.

requiring documents is nazi-ish, USSR-ish, 1984-ish, let's go in opposite direction and require them less

Yeah we know govt is tracking us but why make it easier for them

you just want to make it harder to vote since repubs have a shitty platform only the rich want.
