Part of what it tells me is that they aren't 'conservative', but instead Radical Republicans - especially since the time of the Reagan Admin. Now with 27 trillion in debt, it should be obvious to everyone in the US that Republicans have been focused for 40 years on borrowing from China in order to give tax breaks and other financial benefits to the 1%, at the expense of the 99%. They need assholes like Loomer & Twittler to distract the base with insane antics.
