Sexual harassment legally.

I'd say grooming would be breaking down someone's barriers over a period of time until they will do something they ordinarily wouldn't, doesn't even have to be sexual. Whether this was grooming or not would depend on the method. If he had been wearing these guys down over months maybe but saying "screw me and I'll give you a job" it's just being a normal part time predator playing the odds.

Grooming is also usually a pedo thing, not an older adult to younger adult thing.

But even with peados it's usually said that the paedo grooms the whole family not just the child. It's also about getting adults to accept behavior that would usually be a big red flag.

It's obviously easier with kids, with adults such people often have a few quick tests they do to see who's vulnerable to being groomed. Fred West used to tell sexual jokes about his kids, if you laughed along or tried to be polite about it then he knew he could use you, if you reacted with disgust then he'd just say "it's only a joke" accuse you of being upright but then leave you alone.

Yeah, I don't see grooming in The American Conservative article to which they link. It seems to be as you said. A degenerate abusing his position by promising jobs in exchange to young adults for letting him bum them insensible.

Grooming, in terms of sex acts, tends to apply more to children than adults. It's also longer term, not quite as immediate as offering career advancement in exchange for sex.
