He missed an opportunity with the comment about terrorists running people over: they would do more of that if other means weren't available, which highlights that terrorists aren't fixated (like gun control nuts are) on the means, but the result. There are endless ways to cause death, and you can never eliminate enough without straight-jacketing the people.
