His record was mostly driving offences. It’s not reasonable for the judge to imagine that he’d graduate to murder. The guy looks like a typical deadbeat loser.

Not murder no. But I don't know of any other country where went they have on going riots they don't assume rioters won't join in again as soon as they're released and set bail accordingly. If you have violence in the streets people get killed eventually.

On aggregate, yes, but I don’t blame the judge on this one. The problem is broader than her.
