If the police, feds, whatever alphabet agency don't end this soon this will devolve into a civil war.

Again with this civil war shit. Feds getting involved will just fan the flames and generate sympathy for protesters. If you're that concerned about preventing civil war, maybe advocate for meaningful police reform so that bad cops are held accountable and/or kicked out of the force. Seems like a win-win to me.
