Stopped believing the media since 2014. When the internet became a shithole for the masses.

I saw how the media handled Ron Paul in the 2007-2008 election cycle. Same shit they did to Bernie in 2015-16. Makes me wonder about all other past elections.

Anyone who saw what the media did during the 2016 election should have no problem ignoring them, as they obviously don't represent reality

True enough but there are a LOT of really dumb people these days.

Maybe you're just good at seeing through the BS these days!

I never really paid much attention before. However, today it's so flipping over the top that I can't help but see it.

I agree, it's reaching maximum saturation, and that is waking a lot of people up.

Also remember there's a lot of young people too. Like 25% of the world's population is under 15 years old, so for a lot of people this stuff is just beginning to click because they're just being exposed to it for the first time. So be patient, people are waking up. Just keep trying to help that along, it's all we can really do.

Honestly, a political bias like the one shown here doesn't surprise me that much. News outlets have historically always endorsed a candidate.

What surprises me are the outright lies. I was in DC when the Trump chicken was there. It was the size of a sports mascot. In the photos on the news, they made it look as big as a blimp. Then of course they did actually make the giant blimp. But the first one was not that big.

And there's always some kind of demonstration going on in front of the white house. If it's one the news orgs favor, then they report on it, like it's some huge happening. But I used to go to DC for business a lot, and there was always a demonstration going on.

Plus, DC has about an hour of decent weather each year, the rest of the time it's freezing, or it's hot as shit. So when reporters say they're reporting from the white house, that's a lie, unless they're either wearing a winter parka, or dripping buckets of sweat. I'd see them say it all the time when I'd be sitting in my hotel room because it was too damn cold, or too damn hot to go do anything.

I've seen reporters pretending to row a boat through a flood that was ankle deep.

I actually got interviewed by a reporter about a new park in our town, and she said "Would you say this park is perfect for young children and toddlers?" And I told her no, the park on the other side of town was better because it had a spongey substrate. She didn't print my response, but found someone to agree with the words she was putting in their mouth, and printed that one. I think she actually rolled her eyes at me. But my memory could be exaggerating.

Oh, and let's not forget all the employees at the health center they had line up to pretend to get tested for Covid.

No, it's the lies that bother me, not necessary the politicking. I think creating fake news should be a crime.

    We should be ashamed.

I stopped believing in the media because of pizzagate and 9/11
