People should use what words they want, ... I guess you can tell them what to do, but I'm going to tell them they shouldn't listen to you. Now they can't please us both, so they'll just have to make up their own mind.

But as long as we're being prescriptive, you shouldn't tell people what to do like this. For one, it's not polite. For two, don't you take a leftist sort of stand on things? Maybe if you identify with OP you could apologize for the raw news guys and make sure to tell your friends that this sort of thing isn't ok, and that we need to stand up for whites as a whole when people try to unfairly target them like this? What they did was wrong, and it's good that it was detected and successfully "called out" rather than just being left to fester.
