UBI can strengthen the community. When the profit of your neighbor becomes your benefit, there is an invisible initiative to help.

UBI can reduce corruption. When the state isn't allowed to decide how to spend your money and is simply redistributing it, the elites can neither steal it, nor use it for strengthening their monopolies.

UBI can weaken the bureaucracy class. People in a bad life situation won't have to go and beg a bureaucrat for help, they can just take the money and keep living.

For people who want freedom, but don't want to lose their social services, this seems like a nice compromise. Some say, UBI is incompatible with math. I've failed to find the exact numbers, so I don't know. Don't forget that it comes together with removing the majority of state redistributors and controllers.

As I said, and as you illustrate, the Right are morons.

    • Assange did nothing wrong, so he should be freed. At least much of the Right understands this.
    • UBI is a new name for negative income tax which was promoted by Milton Friedman from the right. It is a good idea, much better than paying people not to work, and certainly better than corporate welfare.
