Here's what happened:

BECAUSE tax payers shouldn't have to pay extra for their oil, especially when it's produced domestically at a MUCH MUCH cheaper rate

So - another WIN for the Biden Admin

NO, the win would have been not to empty the SPR in the first goddamn place. It's not a political tool to help democrats through the midterms, but that's what he did. Now the Saudis have cut production, prices are higher, and we've done nothing to boost domestic production. This isn't a fucking Biden win at all, this is Americans getting fucked.

Wrong. You're taking this out of context. The reserves were used to help people afford gas. Prices will drop and the US will also produce its own reserves.
