They tell you what he did, but they won't tell you why. The camp he attacked was for the children of elite politicians. We all know how corrupt governments get. Sometimes it just makes people go crazy.

No, not "elite children" but a political youth camp. As is tradition, the next leaders of the workers party would have passed through Utøya in their years in the youth party. If anything, it could be called an "elite factory" more than the children of elite politicians.
