Even if the governor delegates power to cities and towns, it’s possible that your local mayor is sponsored by the same NGOs who own Congress.

Yeah, but the governor is much more accessible. A much more consolidated voter base can vote him out of office.

these politics don't matter much, only the federal reserve. governors can't be most powerful unless they each can print their own money. each state should have it's own money system. It's always better to decentralize. So that means no central bank.
