I don't get why they think western poor people would live in developing world type slums.

In America these people would all be twice the weight and siting on a couch in a big living room with a massive TV.

Yes, it looks like an ad for some NGO (that are all scams IMO). That may be where the settings came from. Good questions. I thought it might be good for a giggle but knew it would not withstand any analysis. Yes, they all should have a beer or meth pipe in their hands. I doubt any AI made that. It's a simple matter to do an image search for poor and then paste on a famous head.
