Raw materials prices have to utterly collapse for inflation having any hope of returning to 2% in 2023. The Fed already got prostituted by morons who don't even know the difference between CPI and PCE. The Fed is the emblem of US cowardice, and all get to pay the price.

I'm guessing that raw material costs are high because they all take energy to produce, which is purposely overpriced to save the planet.
