Republicans care about class, not race. The only reason they have sometimes shown hostility to blacks is because most blacks are poor. They love Jews though because Jews are seen as rich, powerful, strong and successful. Right wing social Darwinism naturally leads to philo-semitism. And they hate poor whites most of all.

Republicans are the real class reductionists confirmed.

Right wing social Darwinism naturally leads to philo-semitism.

Not really. Only in a society that values wealth above all things. Under national socialism wealth wasn't the highest goal it was nation and family therefore it naturally led in that case to intense antipathy to Jews. It just depends what a society values.

Jews aren't the only semitic group in existence.

I didn't say they were but in this context the topic of discussion is Jews.

It's not just about wealth but also about the worship of strength, power, domination, IQ, etc. For instance, even secular right-wingers who don't care about Christian Zionist BS tend to support Israel against the Palestinians who are seen as "weak, inferior, poor, brown, stupid" and so on. Israelis are obviously much richer than Palestinians (though interestingly, much poorer than diaspora Jews!) but also they are seen as the strong, dominant side who have earned their place in the hierarchy.

This also wasn't necessarily always true because in the past the left may have been more sympathetic to the "poor, put-upon Jews" and even Israel may have been more popular among progressives before the six-day war when it was seen as weak and counterposed to Arab kings who wanted to throw it into the sea while the existence of Palestinian refugees was largely forgotten. But those days are long over. Now Jews (unlike blacks and other groups that the government has tried and failed to "uplift") are clearly the richest and most powerful group so the right defends this as just, "the way things should be", etc.

Class is definitely one factor but it's too reductive to say it's the only thing at play. I wouldn't even put it in the top five. The main reasons Americans are so Philo-semitic is the power of Jews to marginalise and harm voices on the right who have been critical of Jews or Israel and also the strong presence of various forms of dual covenant protestantism in America. Im sure many right wing Americans do think, as you said, that Jews are just super duper and rich and powerful so that's why they like them but the vast majority have just never encountered serious work critical of Jews and/or have a religion that literally tells them to worship Jews.

Also you'd think if your class/social Darwinism theory were really a major factor then they'd actually have a lot of affection for American Muslims who punch well above the average in America in terms of income. Now I'd be willing to bet first that many of them don't know that but also that even if they did it still wouldn't change their mind. Just as I'd be willing to bet that if people on the American right knew what I do about the behaviour of Jews in America and especially their role in pushing the things they reject then they'd become strong anti-semites no matter how much money Jews have or what they score on IQ tests.
