It's not a binary my friend. You don't have to be one or the other hence the category, "Third Position".

We don't want to harm anyone, we want a future for our children. That isn't racist, irrational, or toxic. It's normal, and the vast majority of the world lives by the same creeds.

As long as people are civil, shutting out one side or the other will make this another reddit echo chamber though.

I don't know of any Republicans (I'm not one btw. Nor a Dem) who want to harm anyone or who don't want a future for their children too. I agree with your sentiment and desire to not fuck things up though. Plenty of people left reddit for the very reason that it distanced and marginalized opinions not shared by its liberal majority. Let's not let that happen here (again, assuming civility).

What would you consider the outsourcing of jobs? When manufacturing of products goes to China a lot of things happen to he EU/US, namely:

1) Child labor gets promoted

2) Endemic people lose their livelihood

3) Environmental regulation gets circumvented

4) IP and economic leverage gets shifted to other nations- some of which have hostile intent

5) Power gets consolidated among billionaires/oligarchs which in turn provides kickbacks to politicians

All of these things affect you and your family and will continue to affect you and your family for generations. But to everyone who voted for NAFTA, it is irrelevant as their children will continue to live in gated communities and get cushy jobs down the line. Again, there is clear and present danger with many leftist programs and positions that by default (especially with current CNN-advocated insurrections taking place right now), have to be sided against with establishment right wingers. It sucks, but that's just politics. That DOES NOT mean that they are the way forward. Inevitably there will be new movements forming that are for making your homeland a safe place to live and they need your full support.

They are already forming in the EU. They will be coming to Australia and the US soon.

NAFTA was signed by Dem Bill Clinton and Orange Man tried to roll it back. He's a dipshit too though.

I agree with your points. I am not a fan of NAFTA.
