ATM wifey and I are watching the Aquaman movie and drinking a cup of decaf. It is pretty good, both the film and the coffee. She is pretty engrossed in it, whereas I am watching it, but also doing an occasional hit of GG#4 shatter and tinkering with a new laser pointer the postman just brought. It is a cheap 301, not strong at all, but it is the first one that I have seen that is this color, a sort of blue purple. It is supposedly 405 nm. I'd say I have already got my $9 worth of fun out of it. It even came with a18650 and a charger. It also came with a 18350 battery, which seems to have no purpose at all.

Tomorrow we will go to the farmers market for some fresh produce, then likely do some yardwork until evening. Tomorrow night is our youngest son's 30th birthday, and his wife is throwing a huge party. I always consider myself lucky that we have kids who are successful and very socially outgoing, yet they still think of their old parents as people they can party with. The oldest is straight and a teetotaller, we babysit for them and go out to eat with them, but the younger one we downright rage with. And he is like me, he has tried the "hard" stuff, but he came back to pot and acid. That reminds me, I need to take ten microdose sugar cubes over, he told me last week that he is out. He is a fucking engineer, you'd think he would buy his own, but whatareyagonnado. They go to WSP shows all the time, too, so it isn't like he doesn't have access. It likely wouldn't be the same though, I make vials from tartrate crystal and dH2O/ethanol mixture, properly dosed at 5 mcg a drop, it would be tough to trust vials from a show to be dosed proper. In the old GD and Phish days, sure, but that scene is gone. So tomorrow we will do some shopping, some housework, and then celebrate three decades with 30-40 younger, successful hippie geeks. And honestly, there isn't anything I would rather do.

Sunday we will lick our wounds, probably start the day with a dose of NAC and as much filtered water as I can drink. Maybe just snuggle and veg on movies.

Next weekend, the older one is taking his wife and youngest (still nursing) son to our cabin in the mountains, and we are staying at their house to babysit and housesit. While there, I am going to flash his new router with Merlin, then install and configure Skynet and Diversion.

Are you sorry you asked? Lol, I suspect that I have the most boring life of anyone reading this, but I've had my fun already. These days, it is the simple things - family, toys, and leaving long unsolicited autobiographical dissertations on a couple web forums. :)

BTW /u/RIP_Meth_9000 hope you get them straightened out. That up in the air feeling can drive even a strong man to Xanax. Good luck mate.

I skimmed the post, will comment more later. But for the important part. Aquaman in Imax with atmos on the home screen is full on orgasm. Movie has it's moments. But if your home theater can give you its best, the movie is phenomenal. The script can be MEH at times.

I completely get that. The plot is enough to sew together all the great CGI and the thunderous fight scenes, but I wouldn't want to read the novelization. This is fun eye candy, downright exhilarating at times, but it isn't melting my brain.
