I am recalling a quote said by many = "The 1st Amendment protects the 2nd and the 2nd protects the 1st". If it were not for that awful 2nd Amendment then Americans would be a lot easier to control which is of course why dimmos are constantly attacking it. An irony that those politicians here to USA I can easily think of who really need to swing from a rope are themselves protected by many men with guns. Because of course they are.

On forums you must carefully word posts so you don't come off sounding like you wished someone bodily harm. I find "he/she will live forever just to piss me off" works quite well.

Modern tyrants will use the police to attack and even murder peaceful protesters and people are supposed to tolerate this violence, while in other ages that would justify a revolution.

In any case, I think the list does not put things into proper perspective. For example, the King of Romania was much worse than Antonescu.

A study of over-thrown kings and queens would be exhaustive indeed. I simply made the comment here that history is chock full of tyrants such as we see in today politics and how they made a bad end. And exactly like all other tyrants the reason they give for their dictatorship is "because shut up". I can think of a number of politicians today who say that. Myself I think that a large number of politicians believe themselves utterly immune from their masses of servants and that's a darn shame. "When free people fear their government there is actual slavery and when their government fears the people there is freedom".

You mentioned tyrants and someone immediately thought you were referring to Trudeau? Says more about them than you.

Since I study world events every day as part of my job I'm reminded when I lived in Dubai and daily told myself living in that fake shit hole = "remember you can do whatever HH Mahktoom says you can do". I'm also reminded of the funny scene of Mel Brooks "it's good to be King". The power trip is told a very long time ago = "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely". We can see this power ranging from politicians to airline stews to police to judges to IRS and every damn place in between. The very goal of those in power is to get more power and keep what power they have. This boy up in Canada is only doing what tyrants do and I do get surprised when people are surprised in that.
