I read a pre-1623 Jesuit book a couple days ago that makes me think they may have been a group who's original purpose was liberty and freedom, but over time all institutions are corrupted. It's been a couple days but I remember it had a few thought provoking concepts in it, if a person was to convert the concept of loyalty to the pope to loyalty to one's religious convictions/God. https://youtu.be/Db25OJosN2E?si=j4xn_1BOHu7Qr4X9

Well they sure as hell freed the White nations from the Protestant influence, but all for the worst. The Protestants weren't perfect but I would rather have them in power than the loons we have today.

The Jesuit School of Salamanca played a vital role in developing the ideas of liberalism and the free market as a result of problems they saw with the Protestant Reformation.

To be honest I have not had the interest to do a full research into what all the Protestant stuff was really about. I just assume when the Roman Empire got mud on their face it was an attempt for another group to assume the same world power that Rome once had.
