As I've been in high rise tower building for most of my life around the USA and around the world I've met a number of schwanky builders including The Donald many years ago for his tower in Vegas. He came to the PM meetings with checks to hand out and he was smart and interested and he knew what the fuck was going on the every single trade of the job. My point is people like him who want a loan for a tower put up all kinds of documents or barter and worth they say is worth XX dollars then it is the burden of the bank and lender to agree or not. He did that. The whacko AG has no fuck idea and neither does the judge. He defrauded no one, the burden of evidence is on the lender and all got paid back plus their interest. DJT is not guilty of a fuck thing except his name is Trump and the dimmos are on a warpath "get Trump no matter what".

Could you put a confident realistic value on Mat-a-Lago from your experience? The guy in the video showed a couple properties to give a comparison. But my work (taxidermy/tanner) and life revolve around such a different direction I have no idea.

Any opinion of mine worthless as I have never in my life dealt in appraisals of anything other than massive glass disasters. Meaning I have a number of insurance companies who will call me to investigate and propose fair settlement of replacement costs of massive damage of hurricane or tornado to icon high rise towers and that's right about it. My expertise is the world of glass and its a very big complex world. From the news we can see other properties for sale nearby same town as MAL into hundreds of millions that are smaller that MAL that carries with it very great cache. Could DJT score 500-600-750 million for it? Probably.

Wow that at least gives a ballpark. The other comments were talking of inflation conversions which initially seemed too high to me, but rewatching the video of the properties compared and your speculations maybe I'm just out of touch of how crazy property prices and inflation has really gotten.

Fun story for you = I left my home of Seattle at age 23 and moved to San Diego CA one of the greatest mistakes of my life in 1984. I was both hopeless and clueless of adult things so bashing through was the best I could do. Found and married a beauty queen (a real Miss CA from 1981) and began fucking her brains out quite often. Told me the rule to get the pussy was to get her a proper home not an apartment. Next biggest mistake of my life was in 1988 buying a 3 BR starter home in an area of San Diego called Eastlake and from about 1986 to 1996 it was the fastest growing tract home development in the nation. Fucking huge. I signed to buy that home for the earth shaking price of 110 grand and was shocked out of my mind I did that. Seattle nice home prices were less than half that. Skip ahead to 2001 so we have lived in that home for 13 years and it sold for 515,000 bucks. What the fuck really? I took the money and as I was already to millionaire status we bought a mansion for 1.4 million in 2001 and we went BK and it was foreclosed on us for eviction in 2007. Divorced from the evil bitch in 2009 and I've been the world traveler ever since. Today you cannot buy ANYTHING of the San Diego market for under 500 grand just fucking insane. Even 1 BR condos going for 500+ grand.

My experience in life has been so totally different growing up in small town southern Illinois. Where you are lucky to get a factory job and most struggle to do even that. Growing up the municipality seemed to fund it's self by marijuana busts of teenagers. At 18yrs old in 1998 working at a printing press 82hrs a week for $500 after taxes, because the illegals were willing to work 16hr shifts. I discovered I could sell weed to my buddies and make more than working 82 hours a week.

This created a cycle of in and out of prison. I would get out and find no job within an hour drive radius, after maybe 6 months of that I would give up on life and be forced to go back to selling drugs.

After 25 yrs my father was corporate downsized out of his factory job but was playing with fur taming on the side for several years before that. He was luckily able to turn that into a thriving business doing the tanning for the surrounding taxidermists. Once I got out the 4th time in 05 I joined in and really upsized his business. That changed everything.

I got lucky and bought a mobile home for $3k with just a $60 a month lot rent. And now do better than most of the people I grew up with. At least the ones that stayed in this area. But I work enough to be comfortable and no more. As long as I get by and have enough to build some motorcycles and hotrods on the side. I had the cops drag off my last girlfriend and have since given up on that headache. Life has been very stress free ever since.

An excellent story! A few things I have said for decades = (1) every man should go to jail or prison at least once to see what it's really like and (2) I do not trust a man who has no scars. My scars well-deserved have taught me far more than any success I've had for there's really no lessons of getting nice blowjobs but there are great lessons in learning HOW to get really nice blowjobs. Sounds to me like you and I would trade some free drinks together if we met.
