The killers bungled up big time by allowing there to be a sizable control group. Causal inference require you explain why the people who aren't vaccinated have better outcomes. Are the so-called anti-vaxxers simply more hygenic or take better care of their health? Do they just ask their relatives to hide their corpses?

That's why the push to mandate the vaccine. No jab, no job, and if 99% of the population has been vaccinated, it's impossible to prove that it does any harm because there's no control to compare it to.
