    Dude there were deportation attemps as late as 1944 and even afterwards, the policy of the Germans was more or less; "Whoever wants the Jews can have em!" Elie Weisel chose to intentionally remain with the Germans when the Soviets came...

      If you would just research the question instead of drowning yourself in the koolaid, you would see that this is 100% factual and true.
