Monsanto was found guilty of chemical poisoning in Landmark case. The French court in Lyon ruled that Monsanto’s Lasso weedkiller formula, which contains the active ingredient alachlor, caused Paul Francois to develop lifelong neurological damage that manifests as several health problems.

Sad thing is appeals courts are always happy to adjust genuinely punitive fines down to easily manageable ones.
