Does the whole of Bayer deserve disrepute over this mistake? There were probably a lot of hard workers that had nothing to do with this.

Whether there are plenty of useful idiots who work for the company are completely beside the point. Its not like anyone would be crazy enough to argue that Bayer as a company has any moral base.
