Puerto Rican policiticians have a "i don't get the attention, i try to force here"-problem. Like a toddler. Literally.
For professionals: This is called Histrionic personality disorder: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histrionic_personality_disorder .
And if you dissect the history of Puerto Rico further you'll soon (as me) will come to the simple conclusion that this destructive behaviour actually isn't based with Puerto Rico being Puerto Rico. It began when US took them "in".

There was a time in the US that a man out during the day was pretty weird, because he wasn't at work. Now it's normal.
