If you read the link, what he actually did.....

Honestly I think (if left alone) he really would have become a frickin supervillain. He had a hit list, he had a platform, he had and has backing of anti-american states (at the very least Ecuador at that time). Every leak was getting worse and worse for societal impact. Not to mention the human cost of informants and agents being tortured and killed. From the Arab spring to pizzagate this fuckhead was setting the world on fire over and over again. So I don't think it's hyperbolic.

I think it's okay for someone to use journalism and free speech to set the world on fire with ideas. But if you're grooming vulnerable government employees to help you actively hack your "hit list" of databases to dump unredacted - then as a taxpayer I want some GMan to come and stop you. Then multiply that by his real world outcomes - yeah he's a supervillain

How does that relate to whether or not Assange's activities can be called journalism or not. I think, by changing the topic in that way, you're accepting that, it's not journalism.

Also - western terrorist? I don't get it, do you identify as an eastern terrorist and I'm supposed to be in opposition or something? I don't get it.

I'm calling the Pax Americana and the US military western terrorists. I bring up Manning, because Manning committed a crime and was convicted. I don't know what Assange did, but you seem to be blaming Assange for the actions of Manning.
