As a "leftist", I don't rate Shapiro's discernment very high. There are certainly people on both sides guilty of blind partisanship, but there's also people on both sides who just want everyone (including us) to comply with international law and human rights conventions. Trying to reduce this to just another red team-blue team issue is pedestrian, not to mention insulting to the civilians who are suffering in the conflict.
