Yes it is. There's a book called The Prophet of Doom you can read online for free. It pours through all known original hadith scripture and biographies of Mohammed, and of course the Quran to paint the big picture of Islam, and there is no other conclusion to draw after educating yourself, that Islam is evil. It's an ideology of enslavement, war, death and world domination. If Satan is real, then surely Muhammad wouldve been possessed by Satan.

And you actually think the Bible is any better? The Bible includes, among others: a father offering up his own daughters to be raped in the place of some stupid angels, God making a man kill his whole family, Jesus letting a bunch of innocent pigs die for no good reason, and a group of children being mauled by a bear for making fun of some random bald guy. The Bible condones murder, rape, slavery (including sex slavery), misogyny, child abuse, and possibly homophobia. Oh, and the Old Testament definitely condones war.

If Islam is evil, so is Christianity.

Also, Satan only killed 10 people; God killed thousands. If God was real, he'd be the real bad guy.

PS: Oh, and Muslims don't believe in the retarded "Original Sin" unlike Christians.

I don't mean to be that guy and I don't necessarily disagree with you... but Christianity literally didn't exist during the old testament. So making a list of things that Jews did doesn't really apply. Im sure you could find plenty of good examples that support your point though if you actually looked in the books that represent said religion.

And guess what, Islam stemmed from the same murderous beginning as Chrisianity. Except they kept all the violence, hatred, warmongering and sexism. Yay Islam is so totally not backwards! Respect people's beliefs blindly no matter what people!! Even if those beliefs count over half the population of earth as subservient. Jee a religion where I can behead my wife for not having sex with me AND I can murder all the gays I want! Where do I sign up!

I don't go to church, but you're a goddamned fool if you think these two compare. Serious ignorance at play here

So you think the Westboro Baptist Church isn't backwards and evil? You think Jehovah's Witnesses and their homophobic brainwashing isn't backwards and evil?
You're the ignorant one here. Christianity is just as terrible as Islam.

Want some examples of how the New Testament is also terrible? Here you go: https://www.news24.com/MyNews24/The-14-Most-Abominable-Bible-Verses-20121224 https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/List_of_actions_prohibited_by_the_Bible#New_Testament

Also, here's a comparison of the Bible and Quran directly. https://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=124494788

This doesn't even scratch the surface of the question. Every time this argument comes up, people throw anecdotes and generalizations all day. But legal practices tell the whole story.

Among all the countries (or regions of countries) in the world which enforce a death penalty for homosexuality, which dominant religion do they have in common?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_penalty_for_homosexuality

Have a look at see if you can figure that one out. Only one faith has supporters that support their government killing people for their sexual orientation.

Not to mention the plethora of laws that restrict women's rights to go outside alone or to attend school. How about a law that says you can legally beat your wife "but not too much", as long as it's within the limits of a certain religious law? These also seem to have a religion in common.

Bringing up extreme minority groups like WBC or JWs (who the majority of locals don't even like) doesn't make a case. Legal practices in entire nations do, however. People can bring up examples of Christians being homophoic all day, it doesn't detract from the fact that only countries of one religion write into law that homosexuals should be put to death and then enforce it.

Those countries are all theocracies and dictatorships. They are based on extremist Islam. If extremist Christians ran a theocracy, it'd be the same thing. Islam isn't the same as Islamism.

That's because they're Islamist dictatorships. There are plenty of Muslims in other countries who do not agree with that kind of extremism.

Your examples don't make a case for Islam being evil, they make a case for extremism and theocracy being evil. Religion and government should be separate and Islamist countries are great examples as of why.

And let's not forget that in the past, many European countries murdered innocent people for being "witches", and went to war all because of their extremist Christianity. Just because it doesn't exist now doesn't mean it wasn't just as bad.

The Quran is no more evil than the Bible; it's the way that terrible people interpret it and the actions they commit that is evil. If the governments of the countries you mentioned were Christian rather than Muslim, they would still be just as evil as they are now.

That's true. And no, we don't. We're atheists.

How much Muslims actually give a shit about the extreme stuff? Same goes for many religions, that not that most people take away from their religion.
