Guy is there to pick up his kid which he has custody for

Threatens them with COURT rather than violence.

They don't seem to deny that he is supposed to get his kid, they just seem to feel like because she's the mom she get's to do what she wants (mostly true in a lot of places)

So the guy goes and grabs a gun to prevent a guy from GETTING HIS KID AS HIS CUSTODY DICTATES.

I think that's kidnapping and murder. If you got my kid and shoot me when I'm supposed to have my kid, you're kidnapping and killed to get away with it.

I find the custody dictates didn't include grabbing the gun LOL nice gymnastics, too bad they fall flat on face. Like, two bullets to the gut flat. Oh, and remember that part where the guy that was about to get shot started screaming you better use it motherfucker? Y'know, right before he grabbed the gun and got killed by the gun he was trying to grab by the guy who was holding it on his property after telling him to leave? You skipped that part.

Second, he isn't charging at him after the turn he's just standing there.

Third, clearly the guy was waiting for it since dumb fucks like you who have no idea how law actually works thinks that just grabbing your gun somehow lets you shoot the person grabbing it. It doesn't. 3 white men who shot that black jogger proved that quite well.

I'd say he's clearly fucked, if not murder then clearly manslaughter.

Apparently he knows the local judge (maybe in a relationship with her?) and there was some issues in charging him with anything. I think he was even still walking free not long ago too. I hope it's changed. I agree with you, this dude is a piece of shit and needs to be charged with murder.

I'm sure the child (who probably hear/saw the murder) now is happy and he will enjoy a peaceful life as a fatherless kid. Gun dude surely will make the kid call him "father" in a matter of weeks, better than Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai. Woman is surely happy to pass the rest of his life with the murder of his son's father knowing that he will easly grab his gun if something go problematic, even against her. Salutations from Texas.

The update I found was from January 3, 2022. No arrests have been made. I say Chad Read was shot by Kyle Carruth in self-defense. I wonder what he was thinking when he grabbed the gun after saying you better use it motherfucker! A judge has been assigned to a civil suit filed by the Read family and that is all. $25 milly yun dollars
