In this work video, a helmetless man can be seen freeing the rocks from his truck. After performing his duty, he leaps to exit the area, only for a falling rock to crush his head. You'll also notice some kind of pink/reddish puff of smoke or liquid show up at this instant. It's probably blood or his brain matter exploding. I wonder, had he worn a helmet, would it have saved him? It seemed like this accident was going to kill him either way.

TBH, being "helmetless" in this situation did not contribute to his demise one bit.
