I saw an article that said he only dropped 33 feet. That’s bullshit. But it did say he was keeping the balloon on the ground and the wind picked up and took him away. Might explain a little bit, but not much.

Looked closer this time: Looked to me like he fell from the basket.

But he starts out right at the basket. Did he almost climb all the way up that rope to safety, but then his strength gave out in the last couple feet? That would be sooo disappointing.
