Why is it that there's never any outrage when a cop from another countries kills someone like this, but when it happens in America, the criticism comes pouring in? Look, I cannot deny that these cops used unnecessary force since after the first shot he's staggering and has dropped the bat. But I just really don't understand why so many people think all American cops are all evil. Of course there are ones that are trigger happy and corrupt, but they exist everywhere in the world, not just here. I've seen people express sympathy when a cop in somewhere like per say, Brazil is killed, but then there are people who actually laugh and say it was deserved when a cop in America is killed.

Before anyone calls me a sheeple, please at least explain to me why not thinking all cops are bad is ignorant thinking? Are cops above the law? Hell no. There are plenty of shitty cops here in the states, but I have seen cops do decent things too, not all of them abuse their power. Also, I don't think all cops in other countries are all either only good or bad. The world is not only black and white.

I know you're exaggerating, but there are cops who genuinely don't want to use lethal force. I'm not saying innocent people don't get shot, but most of the time you can avoid being shot by the police by simply complying with them. There are other things out there that kill way more people every year than American cops do.

A lot of Americans hate cops because they make everyone feels unsafe. There is absolutely zero accountability when it comes to their actions as the literally just get transferred when they abuse their power. They are legalized murders. They can shoot first and ask questions later and that somehow seems fucking normal to them. I get they face real danger but more often then not the situation could’ve been handled SOOO much differently. If a cop walked up to a group of people he thought were suspicious and then opened fire on them because they confronted him you couldn’t even kill the cop to save everyone because “all cops are hero’s” and “no officer should die while on duty”. People are afraid of cops in America and rightfully so. Police officers literally have the most domestic violence problems. Good cops can’t do the right thing because they’ll get blackballed by the entire police force. Fuck heads will say “people need to know how to act with the police” like no mother fucker they need to know how to interact with people.

At 20 seconds they shoot him once and he backs up and drops the bat then turns and walks away (leaving a trail of blood). He is obviously not a threat from this point on, however there are two distinct pop sounds that can be heard after this.

Even if the above were true, that leaves the other pop sound heard just before that to be a completely unnecessary shot on a slowly retreating target in the back.

I honestly can't help feel if he wasn't black, the cops would have tried something else to get him in under control besides he was backing up and the cops wee approaching him. Cops should be required to take some courses on deescalation
